DROP OFF WASTE RATES
The landfill accepts cash or check, and we are now accepting credit and debit cards. There is a 3% convenience fee to use credit or debit cards.
We do not help customers unload trash, TVs, etc. that they bring to the landfill. Assistance with unloading items is a $25 fee. If you have something that is too heavy and you cannot lift it yourself, we strongly recommend that you bring someone to help you unload it.
Effective July 1, 2019, there is a new Anti-Litter Ordinance for Elkhart County. Please make sure your loads are covered and securely tied down when arriving.
The first fine is $250 and each subsequent fine after will be $500.
A Sheriff's Office official will enforce this ordinance. He will patrol and look for uncovered loads as well as loads covered incorrectly and are losing debris.
