DROP OFF WASTE RATES
The landfill accepts cash or check, and we are now accepting credit and debit cards. There is a 3% convenience fee to use credit or debit cards.
Rates for Elkhart County and any county touching Elkhart County including those counties in the state of Michigan
$52 per ton with a $26 minimum
Rates for all other locations
$100 per ton with no proration
Rates for Elkhart County residents on Wednesdays (up to 3 bags, no size or weight limit)
No Charge
Electronic waste (such as computers, TVs, printers, copiers and VCRs)
$10 per item
Leaves for both commercial and residential customers
Yard waste - Anything other than just leaves - Grass clippings, stumps, limbs, sticks, flower bed plants etc.

LANDFILL DROP OFF INFORMATION
ITEMS NOT PERMITTED TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE LANDFILL
Appliances with Coolant in them - such as a refrigerator/freezer, air conditioners or dehumidfiers. You may dispose of the appliance only if there is a certified refrigerant reclamation form provided.

Larger propane tanks - small camping size cylinders are OK.
Gas tanks and sealed drums - emptied tanks that are triple washed with holes drilled in them and/or the lids removed to prove they are empty can be disposed of in the landfill.
